A fresh start, within reach
In the coming weeks, millions of children will return to school. For many families, this means buying backpacks, notebooks, shoes and all the essentials needed for a fresh start.
But for families already struggling to make ends meet, even basic school supplies can be out of reach.
Their children notice. They see classmates arriving with new backpacks, shoes, pencil cases and notebooks while they may have little or nothing of their own. What should be an exciting first day can become a moment of embarrassment and exclusion.
We want to change that.
With your help, we can provide children from vulnerable families with the essential items they need to return to school prepared, confident and with dignity.

Local partners identify children from families who cannot cover the cost of returning to school.

Items are handed over discreetly and respectfully, alongside the families.
