A story
"I used to look at the classroom from outside. Now I sit in the front row, and I know the answers."
When we met Amira, her family had just lost their home. Her mother was working two jobs, and school had become a luxury the family could no longer afford — books, uniform, transport, meals.
Through our education programme, Amira received a full school kit, a monthly stipend for meals, and access to after-school tutoring. Six months later, she is one of the top three students in her year.
Amira's story is not a miracle. It is what happens when steady support reaches a child at the right moment.

Leila's Friends Association is an independent nonprofit organization supporting children and vulnerable families through healthcare, education, nutrition and humanitarian assistance.
We work with trusted local partners to respond to urgent needs while building longer-term opportunities for children and their communities.
Our approach is guided by dignity, transparency and direct cooperation with the people closest to each project.
